Welcome to Global Manufacturing Solutions, where our business is the manufacturing of complex assemblies for the automotive and railway industries. We achieve this by using various materials that include steel, aluminium, fibreglass and plastics.

Global Manufacturing Solutions boasts full ISO 9001:2008 accreditation for its manufacturing and assembly. This Quality Management System demonstrates our ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Our core business is the manufacture of cabins and bonnets for the automotive industry and the manufacture of various assemblies for passenger trains consisting of Steel, Aluminium, HPL and LED lighting.

Global has expertise in bonding with various substrates and adhesives and boast with extensive FRP (fibreglass reinforced panels) knowledge. We are qualified for wet spray painting, as well as welding of various materials, including mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium, using MIG and TIG welding processes.

We offer a wide range of products and services to our clients, from Engineering, Pattern Making, Tool Building, FRP Manufacture, Steel Fabrication, Painting and Product Assembly.

Global Manufacturing Solutions History
Global Manufacturing Solutions, formerly known as Global Composites, changed its name to be more in line with the service we offer.
Global was formed in July 1999 with the aim of designing and setting up a facility to produce the operator’s station (cab) for Bell Equipment’s new range of articulated dump trucks.

One of the reasons the company had been selected by Bell to tackle this project was because the management of Global was essentially made up of the people behind the success of Sani Industries. Sani Industries previously converted the Nissan LDV into the Sani Wagon and Double Cab.

Since then, our business has grown to facilitate local and international clients with their specific needs in creating core components and items within the automotive industry. Due to our convenient location on the East Coast of South Africa, we have been able to procure and deliver goods with ease to various cities across the globe. Our core business remains the manufacture and assembly of medium volume complex assemblies made from various materials.

Our facility currently employs 165 employees, all of whom are fully qualified to complete their jobs and ensure customer satisfaction. We meet all standards and specifications with regard to safety and skills.
